COVET BOARD: Gucci GG Marmont Belt Bag

August entry of the covet board series! Duality still a major theme, and it might still remain that way in the next 4 bags to come.
I remember my first belt bag. It was plum-coloured with a print of Disney's Cinderella on it. I wore it on a kindergarten field trip to the zoo where I took a picture with 50 people I no longer keep in contact with (and 5 of them whom I do).
It was so handy and mug-proof (this is important if you live in Indonesia, unfortunately), but the fanny pack began to build a reputation as an uncle staple - until now.
My friend defines it as a hipster piece of the season, but it was no longer something to wear on your hip. Street stylers carry it as a sling bag. It's so positively lazy that it looks cool. Truthfully, we are all sloths anyway so might as well look good while being ourselves.
And for you guys who got unlimited access to bank of dad or the coveted excessive income, you can now also get the fanny pack in Gucci. Chevron leather (pictured here in red and black), lush velvet, or emblazoned with golden creatures - it's your call.
Personally, I think Rich Chigga started this whole trend back, so kudos to Asians setting global trends and taking over the rap scene.
